Yes, I have got caught up in the "Photo-a-Day" challenge that has been promoted worldwide, I suppose by all those Internet photo companies that have sprung up over the last year or two...
As most people in the scrapbooking world, I also endeavour to not only take the photos but also journal them in the form of a 6x6" album. This is the fist time I'm working with such a small format but it works well, and reasonably quickly, for this project.
As I don't have facilities to print my own photos, I'm always at least a month behind with the pages, but will post batches on a regular basis...
You may not recognise what is shown in this photo - this is one of the big church bells up in the tower, and the clapper is half-muffled. We ring on Remembrance Day and on Armistice Day (one was on Sunday, the other on Wednesday when the wreaths were laid) but with half-muffled bells, so you hear one sound clear as normal but the other dull. So this was the "day after", when the guys went up to "un-muffle" the bells - I asked Sean to take this photo for me as it's the only way to document this special ringing...
