Yes, I have got caught up in the "Photo-a-Day" challenge that has been promoted worldwide, I suppose by all those Internet photo companies that have sprung up over the last year or two...
As most people in the scrapbooking world, I also endeavour to not only take the photos but also journal them in the form of a 6x6" album. This is the fist time I'm working with such a small format but it works well, and reasonably quickly, for this project.
As I don't have facilities to print my own photos, I'm always at least a month behind with the pages, but will post batches on a regular basis...
The lighting ceremony at Chertsey - a crowd meeting outside our church where the Scouts had a marquee up to sell mulled wine and mince pies (never missing from any Advent activity here in England!) and Santa on his Rudolph sleigh was directing the action and entertaining the kids afterwards. The occasion was the first lighting of the big angels on the church as well as light chains in the trees outside, sponsored by the local Rotary Club.
