Day 17 - January 17

Cleaning in the sitting room I always enjoy a handful of souvenirs and heirlooms that I keep on the shelves there. One of them is this jade figurine from China.
The tag explains it: "We bought this lovely jade figurine of a Chinese dragon holding the world orb in the Summer Palace in Beijing. The orb is carved intricately with various smaller orbs, one inside the other, without cutting open."

Patterned paper, alphas and stickers are from Club Scrap "Asian Artisan" - a kit that despite having lived in Hong Kong and travelled widely in Asia (equals to having loads of photos) I find very hard to use! The pinkish paper is from my cardmaking stash and the brads in exactly the same pink are Bazzill "Monochromes". The Asian charms and the toggle are keepsakes from Hong Kong and it was lovely being able to use them and give the page that little twist it needed...
