Yes, I have got caught up in the "Photo-a-Day" challenge that has been promoted worldwide, I suppose by all those Internet photo companies that have sprung up over the last year or two...
As most people in the scrapbooking world, I also endeavour to not only take the photos but also journal them in the form of a 6x6" album. This is the fist time I'm working with such a small format but it works well, and reasonably quickly, for this project.
As I don't have facilities to print my own photos, I'm always at least a month behind with the pages, but will post batches on a regular basis...
Photo taken during the same cleaning session... This is a true heirloom, a German beer mug called a "Stein", which came down to me through my father from my grandfather who had bought it on a trip to Bavaria. These are collector's objects, not really for drinking (although you could!). It has some German verse on the front and intricate relief work both on the ceramic and the pewter lid.
Paper is Club Scrap "Fossils"; alphas/letters are "By the Seashore" and "LMCTW". The fleur-de-lis are brads (manufacturer not known).
