Yes, I have got caught up in the "Photo-a-Day" challenge that has been promoted worldwide, I suppose by all those Internet photo companies that have sprung up over the last year or two...
As most people in the scrapbooking world, I also endeavour to not only take the photos but also journal them in the form of a 6x6" album. This is the fist time I'm working with such a small format but it works well, and reasonably quickly, for this project.
As I don't have facilities to print my own photos, I'm always at least a month behind with the pages, but will post batches on a regular basis...
The photo is of our domestic recycling service, provided by Runnymede Borough to collect paper, glass and tins once a week - I usually remember to set it out about once a month... The tag text, however, refers to our Church Council Meeting that night and my subsequent investment as "Eco Officer" - with first task to sort out some recycling possibilities for our church! It reads: "At the church council meeting tonight I finally was invited to present “EcoCongregation” – this has been pending for a year! The motion went through, and I was put in charge of further investigations and actions under the title of Eco Officer."
Paper and mosaic tiles are from Club Scrap kit "Mosaic Twist"; peeloffs from Craft Creations; mix of fibres from "Mosaic Twist" and "Stepping Out"; and a number sticker from an office pack.
