Yes, I have got caught up in the "Photo-a-Day" challenge that has been promoted worldwide, I suppose by all those Internet photo companies that have sprung up over the last year or two...
As most people in the scrapbooking world, I also endeavour to not only take the photos but also journal them in the form of a 6x6" album. This is the fist time I'm working with such a small format but it works well, and reasonably quickly, for this project.
As I don't have facilities to print my own photos, I'm always at least a month behind with the pages, but will post batches on a regular basis...
On 21st January 2005, we moved into our new home here in Chertsey. I was celebrating our 4-year home anniversary with a photo of the trellis by the entrance, surrounding the plates with the house name and number. "Treffelin", we were told upon buying the house, is a Welsh word and has something to do with milling but the previous owners weren't quite sure what exactly...
This was a great opportunity to use some of the Club Scrap kit "Let me count the ways", although I think the writing in the cutout strip looks more like "let me count the days" which was just what I wanted... The big cork number is from the same kit, and the various peeloffs are from Craft Creations.
