Another "odd shot" - view out of one of our upstairs windows. There are sometimes a lot of gulls about at this time of the year - they come up the river Thames. It looked so funny, all of them sitting arrayed on this lamp post, and the one leaving just reminded me of the nursery rhymes ("Ten green bottles..." in English; "Ten little moors..." in German) where each verse ends something like "...and then there were nine/eight/seven...), which lead to the journalling on this page...
