Yes, I have got caught up in the "Photo-a-Day" challenge that has been promoted worldwide, I suppose by all those Internet photo companies that have sprung up over the last year or two...
As most people in the scrapbooking world, I also endeavour to not only take the photos but also journal them in the form of a 6x6" album. This is the fist time I'm working with such a small format but it works well, and reasonably quickly, for this project.
As I don't have facilities to print my own photos, I'm always at least a month behind with the pages, but will post batches on a regular basis...
Sean has decided that this year, now that we've got into the world of produce gardening, we should also make some use of the overflow produced at Woodlands where his father has several plum trees, a mixed apple orchard, and Asian pear and fig trees, and grapes. He has started, and promised to continue, to bring home lots of fruit to be made into plum compote, apple sauce, apple rings, or just frozen where possible.This is several pots of plum compote and plum sauce cooking...
