Day 239 - August 27

Sean has decided that this year, now that we've got into the world of produce gardening, we should also make some use of the overflow produced at Woodlands where his father has several plum trees, a mixed apple orchard, and Asian pear and fig trees, and grapes. He has started, and promised to continue, to bring home lots of fruit to be made into plum compote, apple sauce, apple rings, or just frozen where possible.
