Yes, I have got caught up in the "Photo-a-Day" challenge that has been promoted worldwide, I suppose by all those Internet photo companies that have sprung up over the last year or two...
As most people in the scrapbooking world, I also endeavour to not only take the photos but also journal them in the form of a 6x6" album. This is the fist time I'm working with such a small format but it works well, and reasonably quickly, for this project.
As I don't have facilities to print my own photos, I'm always at least a month behind with the pages, but will post batches on a regular basis...
This year's District Bellringers' Outing was to the Redhill area where we had the opportunity to ring at eight different churches with rings of 4 to 10 bells! We saw some interesting artwork such as one of the best preserved doom paintings at Chaldon and a collegiate church with brass and tombs to rival Westminster Abbey, which brought it the nickname "Westminster of the South". We also made a little detour to the oldest working post windmill in Britain which was a great treat!
